In january we took part at Europe`s largest trade fair: "BAU 2011" in Munich >>>

GLAPOR Glass Foam Boards

GLAPOR foam glass is a high-quality, environmentally friendly light and insulation construction material for the building industry. It is manufactured 100% out of recycled glass and thereby contributes to the sustainability of the earth's natural resources. In the production process, the ground glass is mixed with ecologically safe activators and "frothed up" in a continuous furnace. The subsequent cooling process is differentiated, thereby enabling the production of different product lines:

GLAPOR GLASS FOAM BOARDS

In the production of GLAPOR foam glass boards, the strand is cooled slowly to room temperature in a special cooling installation to avoid any thermal stress. The raw strand is then cut to the desired length in a fully automated cutting/finishing facility and packed for shipment.

GLAPOR Glass Foam Gravel

GLAPOR GLASS FOAM GRAVEL

In the production of GLAPOR foam glass gravel, the strand is immediately "shock cooled" after leaving the furnace. This creates very high thermal stresses that exceed the material strength and lead the foam glass strand to break into the desired particle size. In bulk, the foam glass gravel is transported either loose in a gravel truck or in large bags of different sizes.

The initial glass material and the production process determine the outstanding properties of GLAPOR foam glass. Such properties as high compressive strength, good thermal insulation and non-combustibility make GLAPOR foam glass products universally applicable in the building industry as an lightweight and insulation construction material.

The consistently high quality of GLAPOR foam glass products make them extremely suitable for construction sites as well as a wide range of other applications and application areas.

The increased demands of building energetics are both reliably and economically met by GLAPOR foam glass. This together with a high benefit-cost ratio delivers an extremely compelling argument for GLAPOR foam glass.
